You need a rivet setter to securely attach copper rivets onto the leather. The rivet setter is a two-in-one tool. One end presses the washer tightly onto the rivet, allowing it to be trimmed to the proper length. The domed end is then used to complete the rivet, producing a secure and reliable fastening.
The rivet setter is available in three different sizes. To be able to attach the rivet to the leather, the shaft needs to fit precisely in the hole of the rivet setter.
