Palosanto has developed a new style awl for stitching leather. This awl is in fact a one tooth stitching iron and works very well with other modern style stitching irons.
The awl is made from HSS-M2 steel, and will remain very sharp for a long time.
We offer three different sizes: 1.6 mm, 1.8 mm and 2.0 mm.
You have two choices for the handle. The handle from African black wood gives the tool a very refined and handsome look. The Bubinga handle is a little cheaper, the difference in price is only because of the different wood, the quality of the tool is exactly the same.
